  • 6 lb. rump roast
  • 2 whole onions
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • sliced onion and green peppers (optional)

Directions

    Boil roast with first 3 ingredients until tender.

    Take meat out of broth and cool.

    Discard onions.

    Slice beef very thin. Cover with broth; bring to a boil and add the next 6 ingredients to this.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serve on Italian rolls.
