- 4 tsp. yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. warm water
- 4 1/4 Tbsp. olive oil or margarine
- 6 c. bread flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg white
Directions

1Proof the yeast with the water, then add sugar and oil or margarine.

2Add salt to flour and gradually add flour.

3Knead dough and shape it into 2 loaves; let it rise until its size is doubled.

4Brush with egg white before baking for 30 minutes in 375° oven.

5Makes 2 loaves.
