Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 medium onions
  • garlic to taste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 lb. cottage cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. parsley
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. water

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onions, garlic and parsley.

    Add tomato paste, 3 cups water, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.

    Simmer 1 1/2 hours.

    Cook noodles.

    Arrange in layers as follows:

    Ground beef, cottage cheese, noodles and Mozzarella.

    Continue making layers until ingredients are all used.

    Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.

    Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
