- 6 oz. vermicelli
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 lb. sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions

1Cook vermicelli and drain.

2Combine with butter, Parmesan cheese, egg and basil.

3Chop all and press into bottom and sides of 10-inch pie plate.

4Brown beef and sausage with onion in skillet.

5Drain.

6Combine meats and spaghetti sauce in a mixing bowl.

7Sprinkle 1/4 cup cheese over crust.

8Pour meat mixture on top.

9Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.

10Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
