- 6 c. cold milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3/4 c. raw washed rice
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pt. half and half
Directions

1In a large pot, bring the milk, sugar and pinch of salt to a boil.

2Add the rice.

3Cook and simmer over low heat, uncovered, for about 40 minutes or until rice is soft.

4Stir occasionally; set aside.

5In a large bowl, mix the eggs, vanilla and half and half.

6Beat until foamy.

7Add all of this mixture to the rice mixture and bring to a slow boil, stirring.

8Shut off the heat and place in a large casserole.

9When cool, cover and refrigerate. Serve cold.
