Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic in oil until golden brown.

2Add any meat desired:

3chicken, beef, veal or meatballs.

4Brown evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

5Add parsley flakes.

6Remove pan from heat and take out meat.

7Add the tomato paste and tomato sauce.

8Fill all cans with water and add to sauce.
-
9Then stir well and add sugar and Italian seasoning.

10Place meat back into sauce and simmer for 2 hours.

11Add more water if sauce thickens.

12Stir occasionally.

13Serve with spaghetti, ravioli or gnocchi.
