  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. anise extract
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Cream together first 5 ingredients until fluffy.

    Sift together remaining ingredients.

    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix well.

    Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
