  • 1/2 c. 3-minute grits
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. melted shortening or cooking oil
  • 1/2 c. cracklins (optional)

Directions
