Ingredients

  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 2 sticks oleo (if cold potatoes are used, melt oleo)
  • 3 eggs
  • 7 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions

    Mix yeast in lukewarm water; blend and set aside.

    Mix potatoes, oleo, eggs, salt and sugar; blend into flour and add yeast water.

    Blend well; place in greased bowl.

    Cover with cold damp cloth and place in refrigerator until ready to use.

    Remove amount of dough desired; roll out and cut.

    Butter tops and let rise 2 to 3 hours.

    Bake at 400° for about 10 minutes.
