- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. canned cream-style corn
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 or more (to taste) jalapeno chili peppers, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients.

2Stir in next four ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients and add to mixture.

3Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.

4Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 450°.
