- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of garlic salt
- dash of onion salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 mild jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Mix all ingredients well except pepper and cheese.

2Pour half the batter into greased, heated 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Spread the jalapeno peppers and cheese over batter.

4Pour remaining batter. Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
