- 1-1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1-1/2 Tbsp sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped jalapenos
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
Directions

1Mix cornmeal, sugar and salt in a bowl.

2Scald milk and pour over.

3Cool to lukewarm.

4Mix in rest of stuff.

5Use 9 inch round baking pan, greased.

6Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
