- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
- 2 c. packed brown sugar
Directions

1Combine ingredients.

2Cut in 1 1/2 cups shortening or butter until crumbly.

3Pat 2/3 of the crumbly mixture on the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch or 15 x 10 x 1-inch ungreased baking pan.

4Spread with 2 cups of any kind of jam.

5The jam will spread easier if you beat it with a fork before spreading.
