  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 2 c. jam
  • 1 c. raisins

    Cream sugar, eggs and oil until creamy.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add flour and buttermilk to mixture.

    Beat 5 minutes by hand.

    Fold in jam, raisins and nuts.
