  • 2 c. flour (plain)
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. jam
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 box raisins
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten separately (whites from yolks)
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

    Mix

    cocoa, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Cream in butter; add beaten egg yolks, milk, flour and soda.

    Add nuts, jam and raisins that have been soaked in hot water and finally fold in beaten egg whites. Pour in a greased and floured tube pan and bake
