- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. fish
- 15 to 25 shrimp, cut into 1/3
- 1 c. bacon, chopped
- 1 medium to large onion, chopped and sliced
- 1/2 bell pepper (red or green)
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, stewed
- 1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 pinch nutmeg, thyme, cayenne and red pepper
- 1 c. long-grain rice (uncooked)
Directions

1Saute in large skillet bacon, onion and green pepper.

2Add mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, broth, rice, fish, shrimp and season.

3Pour into greased casserole dish.

4Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
