- 1 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. sliced celery
- 1 medium bell pepper, cut in strips
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 c. chopped cooked chicken
- 3/4 c. uncooked rice
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
- 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Cook ham, onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in oil in large skillet until onion is soft.

2Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; cover.

3Simmer 40 minutes, stirring once or twice.
