Ingredients

  • 4 regular size cans pork and beans
  • 2 c. catsup (it may take more)
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
  • 6 slices chopped bacon
  • 1 chopped onion

Directions

    Brown bacon and onion together.

    Mix with the rest of ingredients.

    Bake in a 400° oven until it bubbles, then bake at 325° until thick and liquid has cooked down.

    This will take at least 1 hour.

    Taste to see if mixture is sweet before baking. Also, it should have a dark red color.
