  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 or 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. each: nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice
  • 1 c. butter
  • 3 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. raisins

    Cream butter, sugar and add eggs, one at a time.

    Combine flour and baking powder.

    Add alternately with milk.

    Divide batter.

    To one part, add spices and raisins; to other part, add nuts.

    Bake at 325° for 25 or 30 minutes.
