  • cauliflower flowerets, cook al dente
  • carrots, sliced and cooked al dente
  • raw celery (string it), cut in pieces
  • 1 green pepper, cut in pieces
  • 1 red pepper, cut in pieces
  • celery seed
  • allspice (whole, optional)
  • white vinegar (save your pickle juices for this)

Directions

    Put prepared vegetables in large bowl.

    Add 1 cup white cider vinegar and 1/3 cup water and pickle juice if necessary.

    Add celery seed and allspice.

    Marinate 24 hours minimum.
