- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. red food coloring
- 1/2 tsp. oil flavoring (cinnamon)
Directions

1Mix sugar, Karo and water in saucepan.

2Bring to boil; cook until it comes to 325° (hard crack) on candy thermometer.

3Remove from heat; add coloring and flavoring.

4Mix well without scraping sides of pan.

5Pour onto a greased cookie sheet.

6Let harden enough to cut with scissors (approximately 3 minutes).
