  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1 (10 oz.) quick thaw strawberries
  • 1 c. Cool Whip
  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled

Directions

    Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water.

    Add cold water and frozen strawberries.

    Stir gently until fruit thaws.

    Chill until slightly thickened.

    Add whipped topping and blend until smooth. Mixture may appear slightly curdled, but will smooth out on blending.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Chill until firm.

    Garnish with additional whipped topping.
