- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. canola oil
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. white unbleached flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Stir into yeast, honey, salt, eggs, oil and 2 cups whole wheat flour.

3Beat until smooth.

4Add unbleached white flour until dough is easy to handle.

5Knead on floured board 10 minutes or until elastic.

6Place dough in greased bowl and cover.

7Keep in warm place and let rise until doubled (45 minutes to 1 hour).

8Punch down and divide the dough in halves. Shape into loaves and place in greased loaf pans.

9Let rise until doubled (maybe 1 hour).

10Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.

11Can be made all white bread by using all white flour or rye bread by substituting 2 cups rye flour for the whole wheat flour and adding 1/4 cup caraway seed.
