Ingredients

  • 1 gal. meat strips (6 to 8-inches long)
  • 3/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Accent or seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. hot peppers (optional)

Directions

    Combine ingredients.

    Mix with meat.

    Marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.

    Drain in colander and take out peppers. Lay meat on oven racks to dry.

    Set oven at 150°.

    Leave door open a crack and leave meat in oven 6 hours.

    Turn oven off and leave meat in for another 6 hours.
