Jiffy Basic Sweet Dough

Directions

   Put warm water into mixing bowl.

   Add yeast and sugar; stir until dissolved.

   Add shortening, unbeaten eggs, salt and 2 cups flour.

   Mix with electric beater.

   Add 1 more cup flour; continue beating with beater.

   Add the last 3 cups of flour; finish beating with spoon.

   Set in warm place until double, then spoon onto a well floured board.
