  • 2 1/2 lbs. halibut fillet
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper

    Preheat oven to 400 F

    Cut halibut into 6 equal pieces

    Combine mayonnaise, lime juice and zest, ginger
  4. 4
    jalapeno and pepper together in small bowl
  5. 5
    Spread mayonnaise mixture evenly on to the top of each piece of halibut
  6. 6
    Bake in 400 F oven for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on its thickness. The fish will be opaque and flaky when done
