- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 or 3 c. peanuts
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine sugar, Karo and water in iron skillet.

2Cook over medium-high heat until vigorously boiling.

3Add peanuts gradually so as not to reduce the boiling.

4Cook until peanuts begin to pop. Add butter and cook until nuts are brown and mixture is caramel colored, stirring constantly.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in soda and salt.

7Pour onto large, heavy-duty aluminum foil and spread thinly.

8When cool, break into pieces.
