Ingredients
- 9 c. tomatoes (fresh or canned, in bite-size pieces)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 7 medium jalapeno peppers, seeds removed and diced
- 6 medium cloves garlic, diced
- 1 c. sweet onion, chopped
- 10 Tbsp. cornstarch *
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except cornstarch, in a large pot.

2Heat to boiling point.

3Remove 1 cup mix and add cornstarch to it. Stir well and return to pot.

4Stir and cook only until cornstarch is dissolved.

5Take from heat.

6Cool.

7Store in jars in refrigerator for 10 days to two weeks.
