- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. liquid shortening
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
Directions

1Put milk, eggs, shortening and baking powder in bowl.

2Mix real good.

3Do not use mixer.

4Add flour; stir in just enough to make moist (do not beat).

5Preheat ungreased griddle to 350°. Pour batter onto griddle; flip when edges get dry and bubbles form in middle.

6Makes the best pancakes you ever laid a lip over!

7May be mixed and refrigerated.

8Batter will keep one week.
