Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or oleo
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. oats
  • 1 c. crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
  • 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients until fluffy, then add rest of ingredients.

    Mix well and form into balls.

    Place on cookie sheet.

    Flatten with fork dipped in water.

    Bake in 325° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

    Keep a day or 2 before using.

    Will freeze well.
