Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 oz. instant coffee (regular or decaf.)
  • 1 fifth of vodka
  • 1 vanilla bean

Directions

    You will need 1/2 gallon jar with wide mouth.

    Bring sugar, water and coffee to a boil.

    Let stand until cool.

    Pour into sterilized jar and add vodka & vanilla.
  5. 5
    Allow to stand for 2 weeks in a dark place.

    Put into brown paper bag.
  7. 7
    Stir or shake the jar at least daily.
  8. 8
    Remove vanilla bean from bottle and serve as desired.
