  • 4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. instant coffee
  • 1 qt. vodka
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 1 vanilla bean

Directions

    In heavy saucepan, mix together sugar and water. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Add instant coffee. Cut up vanilla bean and add to liquid.

    When cool, add vodka. Age for 30 days. Strain and serve over ice.
