Directions

   Bring sugar, water and coffee to a bubbling boil. Then allow to cool. Put in a glass container.

   Add vodka and vanilla beans. Let stand for 10 days.

   (Add 1 1/2 ounces to a glass of milk for a White Russian or to coffee or over ice for a Black Russian.) Straight in a cordial glass is a great after dinner drink.

   An 8 to 10 ounce bottle makes a nice exchange gift or hostess gift at holiday time.
