  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz. instant coffee
  • a fifth vodka
  • vanilla bean

    Boil water, brown sugar and sugar for 20 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add instant coffee.

    Let cool (cold).

    Add vodka.

    Put vanilla bean (split) in large bottle with liquid mixture.

    Let set for 2 weeks.
