Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 each onions chopped
  • 4 each garlic cloves
  • 4 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup green bell peppers chunked
  • 1 cup liqueur coffee flavor, such as kahlua
  • 1/2 cup parsley leaves chopped
  • 6 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons marjoram crushed
  • 2 teaspoons oregano crushed
  • 1 x cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 x onions chopped
  • 1 x spaghetti cooked

Directions

    In large pot, heat oil.

    Add onions and garlic; saute until transparent.

    Add meat; brown.

    Add remaining ingredients except cheese and onions; mix well.

    Bring to boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer, partially covered, for 45 minutes.

    To serve, spoon chili on top of cooked, drained spaghetti in individual bowls and top with cheese and onions.
