Kahlua Fudge Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. Kahlua
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler on low heat until smooth. Hand beat eggs lightly.

    Stir in brown sugar, salt, vanilla, syrup and

    chocolate mix.

    Mix 1/2 cup walnuts into batter.

    Turn into pie shell.

    Cover top of pie with remaining walnuts.

    Bake at 350° in center of the oven until barely set in the center and pastry is light golden brown, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

    Cool and refrigerate.
