Kaitai Fire Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 Kaitai Fire (or Tobasco) sauce

    boil/steam/prepare rice

    heat wok or pan until very hot

    fry onion, ginger, garlic in oil until onion becomes soft and transluscent

    add meat if desired
  5. 5
    add peas and other vegetables desired as well as the rice.

    fry for 1-2 minutes

    make open area in wok/pan.

    add one egg at a time, making sure to mix each thoroughly into the mixture

    cook the rice until egg is no longer observably runny, then add the soy sauce.

    mix well

    add sriracha to desired level of heat.

    add a few drops of kaitai (or tobasco) sauce for flavor

    serve hot with a hoppy IPA
