Kansas Hot Dog Relish

   Combine first 3 ingredients in a large kettle.

   Sprinkle with salt.

   Let stand for 3 hours, then drain.

   Combine vinegar and sugar in saucepan; heat and then add to cucumber mixture.

   Tie spices and seeds in a bag; add to the kettle.

   Bring to a boil and boil for 20 minutes.

   Remove spice bag.

   Place in hot sterilized jars and seal.
