  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.

    Remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Stir in walnuts.

    Mix and sift together flour and salt; add gradually.

    Pour into greased and floured 9-inch square pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
