  • 13 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 14 cup granulated sugar
  • 18 cup light olive oil
  • salt

Directions

    Pour olive oil into large saucepan.

    Add unpopped popcorn.

    Cover and heat over high heat.

    When first kernel pops, open cover and add sugar.

    Cover immediately.

    Shake pan vigorously until popping slows to less than 1 pop per 3 seconds, being careful not to allow popcorn to scorch.

    Immediately pour into large bowl.

    Salt to taste.

    Toss to break up clumps.
