  • 1 lemon cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) lime jello
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 oz. lime juice
  • 4 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1 stick butter (room temperature)
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 16 oz. confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix cake mix, jello, orange juice and eggs well.

    Pour into 3 (9-inch) cake pans and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.

    Dissolve the confectioners sugar in the lime juice and spoon over the hot cake layers.

    Mix butter, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla well.

    Spread over cake layers.
