- Olive oil, as needed
- 18 asparagus spears
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon herbes de Provence
- 1/2 pound shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 3 bell peppers, preferably one each red, yellow and orange, sliced into thin strips
- 25 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 20 large sea scallops
- 4 cups hot cooked white rice, see *Cook's Note
- 2 lobster tails (about 1 to 2 pounds)
- 1/2 cup clarified butter
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
Directions

1Preheat broiler.

2In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and asparagus spears.

3Cook until asparagus is crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

4Set aside, and cover to keep warm.

5Add more oil to skillet, if needed, and add the onion and herbes de Provence until onion is soft, about 10 minutes.

6Set aside, and cover to keep warm.

7Add more oil to skillet, if needed, and saute shiitake mushrooms until mushrooms are softened.

8Set aside, and cover to keep warm.

9Add more oil to skillet, if needed, and saute bell peppers until slightly soft but still crisp.

10Set aside, and cover to keep warm.

11Add more oil to skillet, if needed, and saute shrimp until just cooked through.

12Set aside, and cover to keep warm.

13Add more oil to skillet, if needed, and saute sea scallops until just cooked through.

14Broil lobster tails, until just tender.

15To serve, on a large platter, place a bed of tumeric rice.

16Place asparagus around the base of the rice.

17Place onions on top of rice.
-
18Place shiitakes on top of onions.

19Place bell peppers around the side of the rice.

20Place shrimp on top of the shiitakes.

21Place scallops around the shrimp.

22Place lobster tails on the extreme left and right sides against the rice Pour clarified butter over the lobster tails and rest of the seafood.

23Garnish with green onions.

24*Cook's Note: Prepare rice according to box directions, adding 2 teaspoons of tumeric when the cooking liquid begins to simmer.
