Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 lb. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. sesame seed
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 c. garage nuts
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 1 lb. coconut
  • 1 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. raisins

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Melt in a large roasting pan the oil, margarine, molasses, vanilla, brown sugar, honey and salt.

    When mixed, let cool slightly and add the oats, sesame seed, chopped nuts, garage nuts, wheat germ, coconut and sunflower seeds.

    Stir thoroughly. Bake in shallow pans for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Stir every 5 to 7 minutes.

    After granola has cooled, add the raisins.

    Very good as a snack.
