- 1/2 c. oleo, softened
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 6 tsp. no-sugar fruit spread*
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. cold water
Directions

1Combine oleo and cream cheese; beat until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla.

2Mix in flour and salt, mixing to a soft dough. Divide in half; wrap in plastic wrap and chill until firm.

3Roll out dough to 1/8 inch and cut into squares about 2 inches.

4Spoon 1/2 tsp. of fruit spread onto each square; fold 2 corners to middle.

6All fruit spreads are good, or poppy seed filling can be used, also apricot.

7Beat egg with water; brush edges before folding; pinch to seal.

8Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown in a 375° oven.
