  • 1 cake compressed yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 4 Tbsp. sour cream (at room temperature)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 can Solo filling
  • powdered sugar

Directions

    Soften the yeast in sour cream, add flour and egg yolk.

    Add butter and mix.

    Divide dough in half and roll out each portion on a slightly floured board to 1/8 inch thick.

    Cut into rounds or squares and put on a greased cookie sheet.

    Make a dent in the center of each one with thumb.

    Place 1 teaspoon of filling in center (apricot or cherry can be used).

    Bake in 350° oven for about 15 minutes.

    Do not brown.
