- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
- 6 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 pkg. prunes, cooked, sweetened to taste and mashed or pureed
- 1 pkg. dried apricots, cooked, sweetened to taste and mashed or pureed
- 1 pkg. dried peaches, cooked, sweetened to taste and mashed or pureed
- powdered sugar
- 1 lb. butter
Directions

1Scald, cream and cool.

2Add yeast and sugar.

3Let stand 10 minutes.

4Cut butter into flour as for pie crust.

5Add salt, yeast mixture and egg yolks to flour mixture.

6Stir and beat to form smooth soft dough.

7Cover tightly and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.

8Turn out onto a lightly floured board and roll to 1/4-inch thickness.

9Cut with round 1 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

10Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

11Make indentations in center and fill with fruits.

12Let rise 15 minutes.

13Bake in 400° oven for 15 to 20 minutes until lightly brown.

14Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

15Dust with powdered sugar.
