- 4 pounds chicken pieces trimmed
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 1/2 cup light soy sauce
- 4 garlic cloves very finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 5 scallions very finely chopped
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound egg noodles dried
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds optional
Directions

1Put chicken into an ovenproof dish, add sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, chili powder, scallions and black pepper to taste. Mix well, cover, and chill overnight.

2Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover chicken and bake 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 275 degrees and cook 40 minutes more. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain, then serve chicken and noodles, sprinkled with sesame seeds, if using.
