- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 qt. stewed tomatoes
- 1 pkg. frozen spinach
- 1 c. uncooked rice
Directions

1Brown garlic in oil.

2Add tomatoes and simmer for 1/2 hour. Add spinach and rice.

3Cover tightly; cook until rice is tender, adding more water or tomato juice if needed.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.

5This is unusual and very tasty.
