- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 12 cup granulated sugar
- 34 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal (I used cocoa crispy)
- 1 12 cups crispy rice chocolate candy bars, coarsely chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2In a medium bowl combine flour, salt, and soda.

3Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.

4In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed.

5Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste.

6Scrape down sides of bowl, then add egg and vanilla.

7Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.

8Add flour mixture, rice cereal and chocolate chunks.

9Blend at low speed just until combined.

10Do not overmix.

11Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.

12Bake for 22-24 minutes.

13Immediately transfer cookies with spatula to a cool, flat surface.
