- 25 to 30 medium sized cucumbers (long and slim)
- 8 large white onions
- 2 large sweet peppers
- 1/2 c. salt
- 5 c. cider vinegar
- 5 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. cloves (whole)
Directions

1Wash cucumbers and slice paper thin (use a slice).

2Chop onions and peppers.

3Combine with cucumbers and salt.

4Let stand 3 hours and drain.

5Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in a large kettle.

6Bring to a boil.

7Add drained cucumbers.

8Heat thoroughly but do not boil.

9Pack while hot into sterilized jars and seal at once.
